Erwin couldn’t buy much, but he did buy velvet ears, tails, collars, and leashes; all assembled on the two pilots, who mimicked how dogs sat, panting from the heat they were being exposed to; their suits not helping, but Erwin thought the suits would be a decent substitute for a fur coat.

Hans-Joachim tugged on his leash, whimpering and whining that his collar was too tight, while Erich sat obediently, wriggling in his spot as he looked up at the much older man who held the two leashes that were attached to their collars (which choked Erich too, but he’d rather not complain, he didn’t want Erwin to hit him with a newspaper again).

“Roll.” The man commanded, dropping the leashes as he stared sternly, and the two couldn’t help but obey, their uniforms dirty with sand by the time they sat back up, Hans-Joachim shaking the sand out of his hair and uniform, Erich quickly following, unaware that Erwin chuckled, mumbling, “You two are my favorites from the litter.”, referring back to the other men who acted like the man’s dogs as well, such as Hans Phillip and Hans-Ulrich Rudel.

This whole thing started out as a nice way to get our creative juices flowing and write historical short stories.

And then it turned into gay smut.

Immediately.

Sorry, but I don’t understand your problem.

We thought it might be nice to encourage other people to write fic too and we came up with a lot of prompts ourselves to ensure we had great variety of interests covered. And yes, it turns out a lot of people in this fandom (like in so many other fandoms) like to write about gay ships.

So what? That doesn’t prevent you from sitting down and letting your creative juices flow and writing your own prompt fill as you deem appropriate, does it?

Aw, I wasn’t meaning it in a bad way, or as commentary about the quality of your work. I just find it funny that we leave it so open ended, and it always comes back around to the same thing. I love reading your writing, I was just offering commentary on the variety and ingenuity of Anon’s requests.

I guess people know what they like. 😅

Ah, I see. 🙂 Well, I guess we’re used to making our own entertainment. And it’s not really like we started from a neutral vantage point. But I get what you’re trying to say, I believe. We can speculate about the reasons why the supply of genfic never seems to match the demand for it but somehow I have the feeling we might never get to the bottom of it. ^^
